When United Way Columbia Family Center approached us, we were excited to capture authentic stories reflecting the heart of their community.
Our process began by sitting down with interviewees of teachers, parents, and staff and ensuring they felt comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Building trust was crucial, and we took pride in creating a space where they could share their stories openly. We documented both organic moments and staged scenes, highlighting the center’s impact, from teachers working with students to the genuine connections in the classrooms.
The stories we captured were so powerful that we created extra content, including several 30-second Instagram reels to share these voices with a broader audience.
