We teamed up with Charm City Run and OOFOS for an ad campaign promoting OOFOS’s recovery shoes. Our client approached us with the idea of running this ad during Teacher Appreciation Week, so the challenge became: how do we tell a story about a teacher and recovery shoes?

Rena came up with the concept of recreating and staging a classroom scene, showing a teacher on her feet all day. The video then transitions from her work life to her home life, where we see our talent resting and recovering. Initially, we tried to book an actual classroom, but ultimately decided to build one in Rena’s studio. Tony, our Director of Photography, suggested using mannequin heads in the foreground to make it look like there were students in the room!

We learned that with a small space, some art supplies, and a dedicated crew, you can accomplish anything!
